Teachers College, Columbia University

Teachers College, Columbia University (TC) is the graduate school of education affiliated with Columbia University, a private research university in New York City. Founded in 1887, Teachers College has been a part of Columbia University since 1898.

Teachers College serves as Columbia University's graduate school of education and psychology, and while Teachers College holds its own corporate status, an independent administrative structure, board of trustees and endowment,  Teachers College graduates are awarded Columbia University degrees according to the statutes of Columbia University.
