Why GMAT Matters for Your MBA and MIM Aspirations

Offers flexibility: you can take the exam online or at test centers depending on your location.

GMAT Test Structure Explained

The latest GMAT (Focus Edition) is shorter, more streamlined, and easier to navigate. It takes just under 2 hours and 15 minutes, compared to over 3 hours in the older version.

Each section is scored on a 60–90 scale, and all three sections are equally weighted. Your total score ranges from 205–805. Top business schools often look for scores in the 605–705+ range, though requirements vary.

Quantitative Reasoning (45 mins, 21 ques)

Tests problem-solving and data sufficiency skills. You’ll be asked to analyze data, apply algebra and arithmetic, and reason quantitatively to solve real-world style problems.

Verbal Reasoning (45 mins, 23 ques)

Assesses your ability to read, understand, and evaluate written material. Tasks include reading comprehension passages and critical reasoning questions that test logic and argument analysis.

Data Insights (45 mins, 20 ques)

Measures how well you interpret and analyze data from tables, charts, and multiple sources. Includes data sufficiency, graphical interpretation, and multi-source reasoning questions.
