Academic Reference – A nurse with a master’s or doctoral degree who taught you during your BScN program. 2. Employment Reference – A person you have directly reported to at work within the past five years. 3. Professional Nursing Reference – A nurse in a leadership position who can comment on your current and potential contributions to the nursing profession. *if you are unable to find an academic reference please explain why?
