All applicants should have an undergraduate or MS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math related areas (e.g., life, pharmacy, medicine, nursing, chemical, biological, or physical sciences, etc.). MS degree or professional degree in pharmacy is not required.

Upload unofficial copies of English-translated international transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions from which you earned a bachelor's degree or higher, including Mark Sheets, if applicable. If you are admitted, you must submit an official course-by-course academic evaluation of your completed bachelor's degree.

Your application will be considered, and an admission decision can be made without proof of financial support. However, an I-20 will not be processed by the Office of International Students and Scholars until we have proof of your financial ability to study at Wayne State University.

Display your communication skills and discuss your ability to maximize effective collaboration with the broader academic community. If you have faced any obstacles or barriers in your education or have seized upon unique opportunities for research, sharing those experiences aids in both the selection process, and in nomination for assistantships and fellowships. If one part of your academic record is not ideal due to challenges you faced in that particular area, this is where you can explain any issues and direct reviewers' attention to the evidence of your promise for success in higher education.
