    A 500-word (or less) statement outlining your interest, goals, and aspirations in the field of architecture. In particular, provide thoughts about studying the design of architecture at UVU with the curriculum and approach we provide.

    Affidavit of support and financial statements (All financial support papers must be in English, showing amounts in U.S. dollars.) Bank Statement, which must show $32,000.00 for one academic year (8 months). This form must be filled out by a parent or sponsor and submitted with an original bank statement or a tax return. This Affidavit and supporting documents are required. Or, if you are paying your own fees, you may submit an original bank statement showing at least $32,000.00 in U.S. funds, on deposit, under your name. Be sure all funds are converted into U.S. dollars. Your sponsor will need to read and initial the information sheet provided in this packet.

  • Portfolio

    University Specific

    The portfolio is a personal statement of your experience, drawing upon both student and professional work, and personal interests. It should demonstrate an understanding of your visual training, various creative interests, technical understanding of architecture, and aspirations. Each portfolio is reviewed by an architecture admissions committee of Faculty Members and Local Architects based on demonstrated skill and creativity. Portfolio Specifications • The portfolio should be physically printed on 8.5”x11” paper with a digital submission provided on a thumb/jump drive. Use professional printing and binding on high quality paper. Loose (unbound) sheets and formats larger than 8.5x11” will not be accepted. • Coversheet that includesthe applicant’s name clearly • 10 pages (single sided) maximum of high-quality reproductions of your best and most recent work. More than one image per page is encouraged to tell the story of your design and thinking process. Portrait or landscape orientation is acceptable. • Provide a brief description on each page of your work. Include a title (if any), medium, original size, date of completion, brief description of image, and your involvement if on a team.
