Our statement of purpose prompt is outlined within the online application. Please answer the following five (5) questions separately. Your responses should be formatted into distinct paragraphs for each prompt and should be no more than two (2) pages in total. 1. Why do you want to obtain a Master of Science in Applied & Computational Mathematics? 2. What prepares you for a Master of Science in Applied & Computational Mathematics? You can consider coursework, research, teaching, and other formative experiences. 3. In what ways does the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington align with your interests and goals? 4. What unique perspectives, life experiences, or identities do you bring that would enrich and strengthen the Applied Mathematics community at the University of Washington?
