MPAcc in Accounting (Professional)

Include one transcript from each post-secondary school (after high school) you have attended. These transcripts must be uploaded into your online application.

List three people who are able to provide detailed information about your academic performance, employment responsibilities, accomplishments, activities, personality, or character. We will only contact your references if we need additional information. We do not use an online form for references to submit their comments.

The resume you include should be similar to what you use for job applications, including schools attended, work experience, internships (both past and future assignments), community and volunteer work, and skills. If you have an internship for the coming summer, be sure to include it on your resume even though you have not yet worked.

Statement of Purpose (maximum 300 words) Please describe your motivation for pursuing the MPAcc degree and how it aligns with your academic and professional goals. You may wish to address: your reasons for pursuing the MPAcc degree your learning goals and areas of interest your career goals over the next 5–10 years how the MPAcc program will help you achieve these goals Please provide clear examples where relevant.

Recorded Video Interview (maximum of 3 minutes) The video interview allows the admissions committee to better understand your background, lived experiences, personal growth and to observe your verbal communication skills. Use of AI and/or reading your responses defeats the purpose of the interview. We value your natural and fully human responses. Please refrain from reading your answers. For your video interview, you may wish to discuss: unique aspects of your background or identity challenges you have overcome or lessons learned perspectives you will bring to the MPAcc community experiences that have shaped your goals or values
