The University of Washington is a public research university in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1861, Washington is one of the oldest universities on the West Coast; it was established in Seattle approximately a decade after the city's founding to aid its economic development. Today, the university's 703 acres main Seattle campus is in the University District, Puget Sound region of the Pacific Northwest. The university also has campuses in Tacoma and Bothell.     For International Study only: All international post-secondary transcripts must be evaluated by a credential evaluations agency. UW Bothell will accept international credential evaluations from any of the preferred agencies listed below or any agency that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Official academic records are required from all previous institutions in your education history, starting with secondary (high school) education. All evaluations must be completed with official documents sent to the evaluation company directly from institutions.
