Document Required:

  • Degree Certificate

    Common Document

If your degree and degree award date are not posted on the transcript, as is the case with most international transcripts, you will need to include the related degree certificate with your transcript.

  • Degree Transcript

    Common Document

Upload unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities you attended to the MAcc program application. nglish translations of transcripts and, where applicable, degree certificates notarized by the issuing university (submit to UO Office of the Registrar).

  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

    University Specific

We prefer that the recommendation is from an accounting professor who has taught an applicant in a major class preferably a junior- or senior-level accounting class and not an introductory accounting class. The recommendation should address the applicant’s intellectual capacity, motivation, work ethic and maturity. You can submit your program application BEFORE your recommendation has been received.

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)

    University Specific

Please explain, in between 500 and 750 words, how the Master of Accounting program will build on your experiences to date and will further your career goals. Tell us not only what you hope to gain from the MAcc program but also what will you bring to the program and to the Lundquist College of Business learning community (PDFs strongly preferred). Please take great care in crafting your statement of purpose and do not have others write them for you. The statement of purpose is your best opportunity to provide the admissions staff with real insight into your personality, values, as well as breadth and depth of education and experiences. There are no right or wrong answers, but there are good and bad statements. We read them carefully for originality and logic of thought, creativity of expression, and correctness of syntax and spelling.
