The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a public land-grant research university in Illinois in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana. If the application materials and video essay donโ€™t provide enough information for an admission decision, the admissions committee may conduct a small number of invitation-only interviews. Admission decisions may be made with or without an interview.
