Your application will include a résumé with sufficient details of your education, volunteer experience, co-op experience, work experience, and any extracurricular activities. You do not need to use the generic CV form. Please note that it will be considered an asset for students to have some accounting-related work experience prior to the start of the program. Having direct exposure to accounting practices at accounting firms or in the industry provides students with a deeper understanding of and connection with the advanced accounting knowledge and concepts that are expanded upon in the Master's program.

Candidates are required to submit two letters of reference, which can be academic, professional or extra-curricular. In the online application system, you will need to supply the names and email addresses for your referees. They will be emailed instructions on how to submit their reference into the online application system. The 1 to 2 pages in length Statement of Intent will introduce you to the Admissions Committee as an individual, showcase your personality, and outline details around but not limited to the following: Why you want to enter the program What your career goals are How the strengths of the program match your career goals and will support you in achieving them What you will contribute towards the program Which area of interest you are considering pursuing (audit and assurance, taxation, performance management, or finance) Ultimately, the statement of intent reveals important information about which candidates will contribute to and benefit the most from the program.
