Provide scanned or digital transcripts (with certified English translations if necessary). Include all marks if still studying.

One academic reference is required. Ensure your referee is aware and has a valid email. Once you have completed your application, your referee will receive a secure link via email to complete their reference. They will need to submit their reference via the online system within two weeks of the deadline. Your referee should be someone who can comment upon your suitability for the programme and is acquainted with your academic ability, research and writing skills.

Tell us about yourself and what your motivations are. Submit a statement up to 3000 characters via the text box or upload a document (max two A4 pages, size 12 font). It is important that your personal statement addresses each of the bullet points listed below.

IELTS/TOEFL

When we assess your application, we would like to learn: 1) Why you want to study Law at graduate level and at UCL 2) How your academic and professional background meets the demands of this course 3) Where you would like to go professionally with your degree 4) The modules you would like to take as part of the LLM and the specialism you would like to follow (if applicable) 5) The legal area that you may want to explore for your Research Essay. Your personal statement should address these topics as it will be used along with your written work to assess your application.
