MA in Interior Architecture

Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary work. Admitted students enrolling in the program will need to have official transcripts, including proof of degree conferral, on file prior to their first class

Applicants should initially provide a portfolio of 12 - 15 pieces that demonstrate foundational competencies in the areas of: Evidence of observational drawings (still life and figure studies) Examples of analytical drawing (perspective and orthographic representations) Demonstration of ‘process oriented’ making skills (architectural models, sculptural or craft-based projects that are iterative in nature) Evidence of graphic work demonstrating 2D compositional color studies Rendered drawings of architectural interiors and or orthographic projections Evidence of introductory CAD, Raster, and Vector graphic software

Submit a current resume summarizing your academic qualifications, appropriate work and volunteer experience, relevant skills, and any honors or awards you have received.

Goal Statement (essay) Please provide a statement outlining your reasons for applying to the program. Include a candid analysis of professional objectives, both long- and short-term, and indicate how the graduate program to which you are applying will help you achieve them. There is no minimum or maximum length for this statement; however, one to two pages is usually sufficient.
