Credential evaluations are required for the following circumstances: Three-year bachelor’s degrees from countries outside the United States. Note: credential evaluations will not be required for 3-year bachelor’s degrees from schools operating under the Bologna process. Schools whose educational system differs from the U.S. educational system. Transcripts that are difficult to decipher.

A scan of your official, course-by-course bachelor’s degree transcript should be uploaded when you complete your online application.

Two letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation are an important way for us to get to know you. We ask that you complete the recommendation request for your references when you complete your application so that they can complete your recommendation online. If your reference insists on mailing the recommendation, they can use the form below and mail it in—we don’t recommend this method, as receiving your recommendation letters online will immediately update your application checklist.

A digital portfolio should be submitted.

A current resume/CV

Your statement should discuss your long-range goals and interest in the chosen discipline and reason for applying to the program, unless your department requests a specific response to a prompt. You will upload it on the application site. The statement should be no more than 500 words.
