Family business details help us understand your business scale, scope, structure, and family involvement. Provide comprehensive company information for each family-owned business: company name, head of company, relationship to applicant, year established, employee count, revenue (three years ago and today), CAGR percentage, and company type. Convert all revenue figures to Indian Rupees. If your family owns multiple businesses, mention all with relevant details. Describe family members' roles and responsibilities (maximum 500 words), highlighting intergenerational collaboration. Detail business history and milestones (maximum 300 words), covering how it started, evolved, and key turning points. Mentor details require nominating one mentor who significantly contributed to your growth within the family business—typically a parent or family business head who has seen your evolution up close. This isn't just a reference; mentors play active roles through a complimentary three-day "Managing Growth and Transformation" workshop at ISB, facilitating alignment between your goals. This immersive experience includes faculty interactions, class attendance, and insights into family business dynamics, building alignment between your ISB learning and family business roadmap. Additional attendees permitted with participation fees.

Your essays are a window into your experiences, motivations, and aspirations, offering insights beyond titles, metrics, and achievements. They help us understand your approach to learning, leadership, and legacy in a family business context through three mandatory essays and one optional essay. Essay 1 (Mandatory): What professional experiences have influenced your approach to learning and have led you to pursue PGP MFAB at ISB? Essay 2 (Mandatory): Describe an important initiative that your business has undertaken during the past 5 years. Explain why you consider it important. You may share an initiative taken by your company even if you were not necessarily involved or associated with it. Essay 3 (Mandatory): According to you, what are the main challenges faced by your business and how would you address them? Additional Essay (Optional): Use this space to highlight anything you wish to bring to the notice of the admission committee which could not be highlighted elsewhere. Examples include explanations for gaps in work or education, inconsistent or below-average academic performance, work and non-work-related awards & achievements adding value. Craft responses that go beyond job descriptions. Be specific, authentic, and unmistakably you.
