The state of Tennessee argued that BlackRock was luring its customers for ideological reasons, making them lose money. How would you defend BlackRock? OR A projected lithium mine in Allier (a French rural territory) is faced with opposition by local ecological groups that argue the mine is likely to induce environmental damage. Promoters of the mine argue that lithium is necessary for the energy transition, and environmental damages would be minimized. Who would you side with? OR Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov was recently arrested. Police argue that serious illegal activities were taking place on the network and Durov was not cooperating with authorities investigating the matter. Durov argues Telegram is an encrypted network and he was thus unable to monitor the activities taking place on the network. Do you feel providers of social networks are responsible for the contents of messages exchanged on the network? Should due diligence apply in this case?
