Glasgow Caledonian University (Scottish Gaelic: Oilthigh Chailleannach Ghlaschu, IPA: [ˈɔlhɪj ˈxaʎan̪ˠəx ˈɣl̪ˠas̪əxu]), informally GCUCaledonian or Caley, is a public university in Glasgow, Scotland. It was formed in 1993 by the merger of The Queen's College, Glasgow (founded in 1875) and Glasgow Polytechnic (founded in 1991). It is located in the Cowcaddens district, just to the immediate north of the city centre, and is Glasgow's third university, after the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde.

    Common Document

    Academic or professional certificates Evidence of completing your degree should come from your university. If you have completed your degree but not yet attended a graduation ceremony you should provide a statement of result, passing certificate or a letter from your university confirming you have successfully completed your degree and details of the qualification you will be awarded at the graduation ceremony. Secondary school certificates should be from the examination awarding body (such as Cambridge, SQA, WAEC, Indian State Board Higher Secondary Education). Some exams, such as IELTS and TOEFL will give you your results by email or SMS, however, we do require to see a copy of the final certificate. If you are a registered with a professional organisation which allows you to work in a specific field, such as medical doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, please ensure you send a copy of your current valid registration.

    Applicants are required to submit a personal statement outlining: Reasons for application to the programme with clear evidence of understanding of the unique role of occupational therapy, which may include detail of relevant contact with occupational therapists. Knowledge and/or experience of working with individuals, groups or communities relevant to the diverse nature of occupational therapy, which can be in a personal, work or voluntary capacity. Personal attributes and skills relevant to the demands of the profession.
