MS in Industrial Design

You must submit academic credentials/documents (transcripts, marksheet, or diploma supplement) in the native language and provide an English translation by an official translation agency, unless your institution issues academic credentials/documents in English.

Three letters of recommendation are required. These can come from a combination of academic and professional contacts.

The Industrial Design program requires that you submit a portfolio. Please upload your portfolio via this application’s “Digital Portfolio” section. Your portfolio should be no more than 15 pages.

As part of the application, please include a 1 to 2 minute video of yourself. You can talk about one of three subjects: in which ways does the GT ID program align with your interest in industrial design, what was the most rewarding project to do that is included in your portfolio or how you would teach a design related technique to an undergraduate student. You may use visuals such as screen shares, slides, or physical objects to support your presentation, but please keep your face in view at all times. Please record your video in a quiet environment with good lighting and minimal background distractions to ensure the best possible quality.
