Three letters of recommendation are required. These can come from a combination of academic and professional contacts.

Describe your academic/professional motivation for applying to this Master's program. Tell us why you want to pursue your graduate education at Georgia Tech. How do you envision your career progressing after earning this degree? If applicable, explain discrepancies or weaknesses on your record, such as employment gaps, low grades, missing letters of recommendations from recent supervisors, unusual work experience or career paths, and additional challenges you would like the admissions team to know.

**Main Tips:** Even if you don't have a design background, your portfolio can be very strong and competitive if you focus on showcasing your work and strengths in a compelling way. Highlight the knowledge and skills that are the basis of your application to the master program. Use good visuals even if not developed by you, but are part of the project you are trying to highlight. Just be sure to provide proper credit and make the role you played in the project clear. Focus your message on what you contributed and your **strategies, reflections, successes. Be deliberate with the information you provide.
