Four-year bachelor's degree.

For your initial application to graduate studies, we only require your unofficial academic transcripts for each post-secondary institution you have attended. Please include degree certificates if degree conferral is not stated on your transcripts.

Two letters of reference are required for admission into a graduate degree. These letters are normally required to be from academics familiar with your work but may be replaced with relevant professional references for some course-based professional master's programs. If accepted, professional references can be submitted according to the following schedule: For applicants who completed their undergraduate (or related graduate) degree within the past three years: Two academic references. For applicants who completed their undergraduate (or related graduate) degree three to five years ago: a) one academic reference and one relevant professional reference, or b) two academic references. For applicants who completed their undergraduate (or related graduate) degree more than five years ago: a) two relevant professional references, or b) one academic reference and one relevant professional reference, or c) two academic references.

Provide a CV that summarizes academic and professional achievements, work experiences, and any other relevant information to support the review of the application package.

Provide a statement of intent, this gives you the opportunity to outline your research interests or to describe the research project that you want to pursue in your graduate studies. Look through the Faculty Research Profiles on the Mathematics and Statistics website to find research in our department that interests you. In your Statement of Intent, include 1 or 2 names of Faculty whose research aligns with your proposed research or field of study.
