For International Only : Students must submit an official transcript evaluation including GPA equivalence and course-by-course listing, done by a NACES member company. CLU recommends two providers who have offered our applicants a streamlined process for obtaining an evaluation. These are IEE and The Evaluation Company (formerly SpanTran).

Bachelor's degree

Official Transcript(s) from a regionally accredited college or university verifying the applicant’s bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in upper division undergraduate work is expected.

The letters should be from academic or professional references.

The Personal Statement is part of the application process and should accompany your application for graduate study at California Lutheran University. This essay section of the application allows you to describe why you want to obtain a master’s degree at Cal Lutheran. It also provides you with the opportunity to demonstrate writing competency and communication skills, specify examples of leadership, discuss career goals and provide any other pertinent information that will assist us in selecting persons who can most benefit from and contribute to the graduate program.
