Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Brandeis University is a private research institution founded in 1948. It was established by the Jewish community as a non-sectarian, coeducational university and is named after Louis Brandeis, the first Jewish Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. The campus spans 235 acres and enrolls about 5,800 students.
